July 26th

In 2011, the Pirates and the Braves played 19 innings with the Braves winning 4-3. The game took 6 hours and 39 minutes. The game ended on terrible call at home plate by Jerry Meals. This call wasn’t just bad it was dreadful. Check out how this game ended!

In 2001, Billy Wagner gets taken downtown in the ‘Sayonara Slam’ when Brian Giles hits a Grand Slam Homerun in the bottom of the 9th to win the game.

In 2003, Bill Mueller hits 3 home runs 2 of which were Grand Slams the first time someone ever hit switch hitting two Grand Slams. Watch these dingers soar!

In 2011, The Braves became the second team to join the 10,000 loss club along with the Phillies who achieved this accomplishment in 2007.
